Have you heard that song that goes, "Life is life...nanananana...nananana life." Yeah, it's a pretty awful song, but it's a part of my cycling class. Anyways, that's about how I'm feeling about everything that's going on. Oh well. I've done a few events this past week(end), so I'll share them with the blogging universe.
We just movered ourselves into a new spot, and it is basically ace. I didn't get a shot to take too many...er...shots of it, but I did manage to get a nice picture of my new computer desk:
And my kitchen, which is now loaded with boxes:
I'll have to get around to unpacking when the fun stops and I get motivated...mwah mwah mwaaaaaaah.
Yesterday we headed on over to Vancouver for a day of out-and-about-ness. We, of course, being myself, Martin, and the parent's-in-law. We headed over to Vanier Park/Granville Island area to check out the sights, as Marty's parents have never been here before. Lots of kites again out, but no fancy guy like last time.
I used a super-gross public park washroom (I look so psyched though):
Jack and the Beanstalk
The parent's-in-law
The husband
The Planetarium
We stopped on by Ikea on the way home for an always enjoyable experience, traipsing through the "As Is" section and of course...
THE CHRISTMAS SECTION!
No big deal. Just bought a couple of rolls to wrap the gifts of which I have already purchased the majority of.
Today was another nice day in which we headed to Mill Lake for a nice saunter around the park:
Now this next one was a bit of a grosser...
This lady was sitting on the boadwalk, wearing that, and puffing on her cigarette. You have no idea how long I waited with my camera pointed at her to take a puff. She never noticed me. In fact, she fell asleep since her last puff and proceed to drop her cigarette on the ground momentarily and then retrieve it and puff. Snap. End of story. Now we can try together to erase that picture from our memory.
My reflection in the water...
This evening, we headed out to mini golf at for an "Under the Sea" experience. It was great fun in which I kicked everyone's patootie and ended up one under par. No big deal again.
We (Marty's dad) even ended up winning a free round of golf! Good times had by all. We also headed over to the shooting range for good times with our free tokens.
Tomorrow it's back to work so I can make a few shekels so I can live for next weekend. Sigh. And then I gotta unpack. And I gotta get up early to exercise. Etc etc etc. Anyways, hopefully everything is well with you all. Nothing super cool on the horizon, but if something pops up, I'll snap it and let ya know. Mmmmkay? Au revoir.
