Gingerbread Ninja

It’s CHRISTMAS!! Yes, it really is. I gotta say – even though I scream it, I’m just not feeling it yet, despite several attempts to bring it around. Today it is officially two weeks until Christmas Eve, so lets Christmas-it-up.

Jean got an early start on the festivities as she invited a slew of people over to her house on November 28th for a good, old-fashioned tree-trimming celebration.

As is tradition at Jean’s annual tree-trimming, a gingerbread house is to be made. Our attempt last year never made it beyond the initial construction stage, but this year, we had a full-fledged construction team dedicated to seeing the project through.

After labouring for a while, construction was mostly complete and some semblance of a happy gingerbread home and family emerged.
