(Day 1) Parker & The Gang

I really love my little hometown, especially when nothing ever changes there. This way, you can stay young forever! But it always seems kind of bizarre to me that I actually spend my precious vacation time in this tiny little place. It’s a different kind of vacation I guess. And I always feel sad when I’m leaving, so that’s a good thing. I love you Altona! In July, I flew there for a weeklong respite.





Fresh off the boat, I had scheduled my first meet-and-greet at Suzy’s house for some food and fun. Jenna and her people joined us for some TGIF and I got to meet the newest member of the bunch, Parker. The kid is just so cute, I could have straight up died. UGH! I wanted to kidnap him and run. GAH!







The Bumbo chair made him puke so that didn’t last long.







Yeah, I wanted to edit it down, but every photo was my favourite. This kid has faces like there is no tomorrow.



Of course, Suzy’s own cuties were also present. I think I made a new buddy in Bailey! Now, if only he could remember me from one year to the next…wahhhh

Being the old people we now are, the party broke up shortly after midnight. I’m going to keep this short because I have an early morning tomorrow with the Sunflower Festival parade and all that…I cannot wait! I WANT CANDYYYY!
